St Mary’s College for the Deaf welcomes Foundation to Year 12 students with a significant hearing loss into our vibrant and exceptional learning community. We provide an inclusive education in partnership with many quality Catholic schools across Melbourne. Our unique campus experience, inspires students who are deaf and hard of hearing to grow into confident, empowered young adults, cultivating a love of learning. Access to a complete range of curricular and extra-curricular experiences is provided with education at St Mary’s College being intricately woven with that of each particular partner school. Students are welcomed into classes covering the core curriculum and elective subjects as members of each partner school community. Learning alongside their hearing peers in each mainstream school, their educational journey is enriched through highly individualised learning support and interventions from specialist staff with a commitment to the development of effective listening and spoken language. Our partner schools include Aquinas College, Marymede Catholic College, Salesian College Sunbury, St John’s Regional College and Holy Trinity Primary School.
